Our fragrances are phthalate-free. Phthalates are related to plastics and, unfortunately, are commonly found in many products, including some perfumes and skincare products. Phthalates have raised concerns about hormone disruption, fertility, and the possibility of detrimental effects on children. We don’t like phthalates and we won’t use ingredients that contain them.
Quality Matters
We source our ingredients and bases from Australian manufacturers and suppliers, which means that they made according to strict Australian manufacturing standards. In addition to this, we use fragrances that abide by the guidelines set by the International Fragrance Regulation Association (IFRA). The Scent Colllectif carefully creates safe, quality fragrances in accordance with these standards. This is why we are confident about the quality of our products. We know what is in them and, importantly, what is not in them. The end-products available to you on our shelves are hand-crafted in small batches — not imported, not factory-made — and they are created with care and meticulous attention to detail.
The Sensational Coconut
Our candles and body products are created with high-quality, sustainably-grown ingredients, such as coconut oil, olive oil, goatsmilk, soy wax, and beeswax and are PARABEN-FREE. You will notice a lot of coconut oil in our products because we know that it is an amazing ingredient. Coconut oil is gentle on skin, has amazing fragrance-holding ability, and does not go rancid like other vegetable oils. In candles, it produces exceptional scent throw and quality of burn. The alcohol bases used in our perfumes and room sprays are derived from sugar cane grown and distilled in Australia.
A note on allergies and irritations. We have noticed that some of our customers report that alcohol-based fragrances are a problem for them. That is why we like to offer the option of oil-based fragrances, with our coconut-oil based rollers and solid wax perfumes, made with a coconut and beeswax base.
